2NE1 member and K-Pop icon, Sandara Parktalked about his former label, YG Entertainment.
In the September 14 episode of MBC‘s Radio starthe idol talked about her time with YG Entertainment and how she almost didn’t make the group.
2NE1 was originally a group of three members. I thought I wouldn’t make the team, so I cried, went to the training room and drank a whole bottle of soju even though I couldn’t drink. Shortly after, Teddy bear up on asked me to record and I miraculously joined the group.

The idol also revealed what she thought was the reason for 2NE1’s disbandment, saying that she found out about the disbandment through the press.
When we broke up I thought the sky was falling. The situation was bad, so I guess the label thought it would be difficult for us to promote. We promoted for seven years, but we only had two full albums.

Sandara Park didn’t hesitate when asked if she would like 2NE1 to reunite. The idol stated how much she wanted it to happen.
Reunification is still my dream. I believe there will come a time when everyone will want it.

2NE1 debuted in 2009 and officially disbanded in 2016. The group consisting of members Park BoomSandara Park, CLand Minzy are best remembered for their hit songs like “Fire” and “I Am The Best.” Speculation about the group’s reunion ran rampant when the group showed up to perform at 2022 Coachella music festival.
