Is Lexi Ainsworth Bringing Kristina Back To General Hospital For Good?

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, “General Hospital” actress Lexi Ainsworth expressed her excitement to be returning to the role on what appears to be a more regular basis. During her hiatus, she took the opportunity to travel, explaining that every time she returns, she loves catching up with Nancy Lee Grahn who plays her mother, Alexis Davis, as well as Kelly Monaco and Haley Pullos who play her sisters Sam and Molly respectively. Ainsworth loves the lighthearted scenes with them. She also enjoys catching up with her on-screen dad, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). “We just have this real-life connection with each other,” she said, adding “…and I think people can see that on screen. It’s just heartfelt and real; I just look into his eyes and I can cry or laugh. It’s always great getting to work with him.”

Ainsworth also said that she was happy to be working with actor Evan Hofer who plays Sonny’s newest protegee, Dex Heller, whom she had previously worked with on the 2014 short film “My Friend Jenkins.” Ainsworth said, “It’s been fun reconnecting with him and he’s a great addition to the show. I’m really excited to see where they go with his character.” 

Ainsworth posted her excitement to be acting with her on-screen family again on Instagram, sharing a picture of the four of them with the caption, “Hope you enjoyed today’s scenes with my gorgeous family.”
