We’re not sure what the uncanny CGI valley is, but we agree that Halley Bailey has a ton of talent and The little Mermaid the remake is going to be amazing. She is quite a talented woman and from the trailers she is going to do well in the role.

All the movies and shows that change the character’s race are certainly within their rights to do so. These are fictional characters, so what does it matter what color their skin happens to be? We are more than happy to see how Halle Bailey does The little Mermaid. She has an incredible voice and has shown that she can definitely showcase her acting skills as well. We are excited for the new movie.
Halle Bailey and The little Mermaid will debut on May 26, 2023. Rob Marshall is directing the film. The man has famously directed Mary Poppins returns, Into the forest, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tidesand Chicago. He has a great vision for mixing music into his movies and he is more than capable of making this new live-action remake a great movie. Disney knows what to do.
