“On August 19, the Truth Social notified us of several violations of standard policies in their current app and confirmed that effective user-generated content moderation systems are a requirement of our terms of service for any app to be published on Google Play,” the company, which is based in In Mountain View Tell CNBC.

The announcement coincided with a successful New York Times article published the day before that smeared the Truth Social as a haven for extremism.

The allied censorship system between corporate media and big technology is closely following Parler’s playbook, as Apple, Google and Amazon have colluded to scrap the rival social media company’s platform.

In January last year, the three tech giants stripped Parler of their services, citing extremist content on the platform that led to the Capitol riots. However, Twitter and Facebook have both strengthened their same activity on their respective platforms during the same time frame.
