Julia Fox Clarifies Her Reasoning Behind Breaking Up With Kanye West

After all that’s been said and done, Julia Fox is okay with how her relationship with Kanye “Ye” West panned out. Speaking with ES Magazine, Fox cited “unresolved issues” on West’s part as one of the reason she doesn’t regret their breakup. “It just seems like he had a lot to work on, and I just don’t have time for it or energy,” said Fox. “I don’t have the bandwidth or emotional capacity for it. I’m proud of myself for that,” added the actor and socialite. Initially, Fox was taking the relationship one day at a time, gauging their relationship by whether or not West wanted to “hang out with me today,” but then she realized she couldn’t keep up. “I couldn’t fly away once a week. And I tapped out at the first sign of a red flag.” 

While the actor and socialite didn’t specify which red flags she observed during their time together, West’s disturbing social media behavior, much of which has been directed at Kim Kardashian, is enough to send anyone running. Over the past few months, the famous rapper has, amongst other things, threatened Kardashian’s now-ex Pete Davidson in song and is now publicly feuding with Kardashian over where their children go to school. And yet, the year, like West’s divorce from Kardashian, is not done yet, so it’s safe to say the drama is far from over.
