Wendy Williams is seeking treatment at a wellness center, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Williams, 58, former host of “The Wendy Williams show,” had promised a comeback in the form of a new podcast.

But her publicist, Shawn Zanotti, told the outlet that she recently walked into the facility.

“She is taking some time to focus on her health and wellness as she prepares for a big comeback to the next level of her career with The Wendy Experience Podcast,” Zanotti said. “Ms. Williams is being treated by a team of some of the best doctors in the world. We ask for your prayers and well wishes during this time.”

“The Wendy Williams Show” ended in June after the host’s long absence. Before taking an extended break to deal with health issues, she had hosted the talk show since 2008.

Frequent guest host Sherri Shepherd, one of a number of fill-in hosts, debuted a new talk show, “Sherri,” this week in the former “Wendy” time slot.

Williams, who grew up in Ocean Township, was a former resident of Livingston.

She was absent from “Wendy” for its entire 13th and final season to deal with issues, including complications from Graves’ disease, an autoimmune condition affecting the thyroid gland that can cause a wide variety of symptoms. She has also been treated for lymphoedema, which causes swelling in the legs.

“Co-hosts, I’m famous and I’m coming back,” Williams said in a video teasing “The Wendy Experience” on Instagram.

The former talk show host and radio host had spoken out about being blocked from accessing her bank accounts after she said Wells Fargo prevented her from accessing her money.

In the past, Williams also talked about his experiences with drug and alcohol addiction. In a 2019 episode of “Wendy,” she told the audience that she lived in a sober living facility.
