Logan Baker of watch retailer Hodinkee identified the watch Rafael Nadal wore in his match against Frances Tiafoe at the 2022 US Open. “Rafael Nadal, the all-time leader in men’s singles Grand Slam titles, wore his usual Richard Mille these days, the RM 27 -04 Tourbillon, before unexpectedly falling to American Frances Tiafoe in the fourth round of the 2022 USA

Open,” Logan Baker wrote to Hodinkee’s official website.

Nadal used to wear a watch on both hands

In 2014, Nadal uploaded a photo on his Facebook page taken on his way to Monte-Carlo, where he was scheduled to compete in the first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 clay court event of that season.

The Spaniard was seen posing in front of vast landscapes and he was all smiles as always. The interesting thing though was that both of his wrists had a watch. The 13-time Grand Slam winner captioned the photo, “On the way to Monte Carlo.

Looking forward to what comes next”. It was a Facebook page ‘Rafael Nadal fans’ who first noticed two wristwatches and commented: “2 watches. Vamos Rafa!” One of them was his $690,000 Tourbillon RM027, which he had worn during his matches.

Nadal once commented about that watch: “I don’t feel the watch. It’s very light, and when I don’t have the watch on I feel like something’s not working.” In addition to Nadal’s watch, Hodinkee also identified which watch Serena Williams was wearing on her wrist.
